English/Topic: African Animals
Your task this week is to research an African animal and create an information book about that animal aimed at 7-8 year old children. You can choose which animal your book is based around, but it must be a land animal that is found in Africa.
Wednesday: Research and make 2 pages of your information book
Your information book will need to include: (I recommend a page for each)
I would recommend you break this down to research and make one page at a time (1 or 2 a day), so by the end of the week you will have enough pages to make your book.
Each page will need to have:
How to produce your final book is up to you. You may choose to do all the artwork yourself, or find images from the internet and stick them onto your book. You may wish to complete your whole book electronically and produce an ‘ebook.’
Maths:
Daily 10
Pupils have also been using daily 10 in class to improve this recall of multiplication and division facts. They all know how this works. Click on the link below to access the website.

Having listened to your feedback, some of you preferred the white rose maths, and some preferred the NCETM videos. So, I am going to offer a choice. You can either do the white rose or the NCETM videos. There is no right or wrong option, it is what best suits you. Either lesson will benefit your child.
