Spellings:

Practise spelling words with the cian or ssion suffixes. Use slide 6 of the powerpoint for ideas of words containing these suffixes.
Read for pleasure: Spend 10-15 minutes (or more if you want) reading something for pleasure. It could be a story, poem, play, information text, comic, graphic novel or online text/kindle/e-reader. You could also read to a younger or older sibling.
English: Story writing: setting and subordinate conjunctions
Next week, you will be asked to write a story. The work that we will be doing over the next few days is going to prepare you for your big write. The setting you create today will be the setting in the story you write next week. You will also be expected to include some subordinating conjunctions in your story, so pay attention! If you need any help, please message me 😊
Click on the link below to take you to the BBC bitesize page to learn about how to use setting and subordinate conjunctions in writing. Complete activities 1, 2 and 3.

(The problems are the same for year 5 and 6, so clicking on either link will take you to the relevant challenge: Summer term, week 6: Friday Maths challenge).
