Oak Class held a Cake Sale and Raffle to fundraise for the purchase of two 'School in a Box' kits from UNICEF. Each box contains everything needed to provide an education for up to forty children and is part of UNICEF's worldwide scheme to get children affected by a natural disaster or war back to school.
The children baked and iced cakes in school as well as receiving donations from family and other members of the school community. Parents and family members were welcomed and served with teas and coffees. A whopping £198 was raised from the afternoon. Well done Oak!
