Castle Acre Primary School

Tri-Golf

Another brilliant morning at TNHA on Tuesday 30th January having a go at TriGolf.

This time the Year 3s made the journey to Swaffham to practise chipping and putting. No, they weren't honing their potato cutting skills, but learning how to make a golf ball go in the direction intended, which is no mean feat!

There were eight activities to take part in with seven other schools in attendance too.  A short period of practice was followed by a frenzied few minutes of point scoring. There was a trade off between speed and accuracy, with speed deemed the more fun, while accuracy was the more satisfying!  As Noah commented, "We learnt how to get quicker."

All the children were great ambassadors for Castle Acre Academy with exemplary behaviour, enthusiasm and team spirit who were a pleasure to take out.
