Fairy Cakes

Week 2 meant Fairy cakes so lots more beating of mixture.  Weight of ingredients matched the weight of 2 eggs so the balance scales were put to good use, with everyone making sure they were accurate. Cracking eggs into the bowl is always good fun and I was amazed how few bits of shell went in. Those that did were removed carefully with good humour so I am confident there won't be any 'crunchy bits' in the cakes!

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank The Friends for purchasing lots of wonderful cooking equipment so no-one has to wait their turn for a set of scales or rolling pin any more.
