Quick Write: Double ly ending sentences
Watch the short video tutorial from your teacher on dojo, and have a go at writing your own sentences with two adverbs. Use the information on the slide below to give you some ideas. (double ly ending sentences)

Daily 10
Encourage pupils to practise their times tables by clicking on the link below. This will give 10 questions based around recall of the times tables facts.

Note there is a separate lesson for year 4 and year 5- if you have 2 children in different year groups, just select either year 4 or year 5 for children to complete. The children need to work through each of the 4 parts (see the tabs at the bottom…1- Learning objective, 2- The Grammar bit, 3- Whiteboard challenge, 4- Writing ideas.) There is a downloadable worksheet on the writing ideas page for children to complete, which you can also find at the bottom of this page. This can be printed for children to work on, or alternatively children could write their answers on paper/in a book.

Art: Pablo Picasso
Learn about the famous and influential artist Pablo Picasso by going through the powerpoint below. Then it’s time to get creative!!! Can try to create your own cubist portrait in the style of Picasso? You can use the changing faces sheet below (Picasso Changing faces word document) to help generate the shapes for your cubist face. Don’t forget, Picasso used bright, bold colours, so you will need to as well. I can’t wait to see some of your portraits!
