Our local churches, St. Mary's at Sporle, All Saints at Narborough & St James The Great at Castle Acre are an easy walk from our schools. We often visit our churches to learn more about the Christian faith and families are regularly invited to join us to celebrate special events at the churches.
As Church of England schools we hold a Christian act of worship every day. Emphasis is put on living our lives in a way which is caring towards others, ourselves and the environment. Collective Worship plays a very important role in setting the tone of school life. We aim to create an atmosphere of peace, understanding and awareness. Collective Worship is conducted in a broadly Christian tradition which is non-denominational. We use our school values and the ‘Values for Life’ resource to support the planning and delivery of Collective Worship. Our children lead our Circles of Reflection.
Our daily Collective Worship is led by the children, staff team and by the wonderful Fr Richard, Graham Chittock who is from the Methodist community and Joe Welch from The Fountain Church in Ashill and Swaffham comes once a term.
Parents may withdraw their children from the Collective Act of Worship if they put in a written request to do so.
