Can I just say a big thank you to all of the parents uploading to Class Dojo, I appreciate that it's something new to a lot of you (me also!). I uploaded 2 more videos yesterday to help those of you who aren't able to print out worksheets/tasks and how to upload to the portfolios - so please do check these out!
Today you get to find out where we are travelling on our adventure!
I've also attached a EYFS & Year 1 Home Learning Pack at the bottom of this page if anyone fancies some other little challenges (these would be great if you have already worked through your workbooks!).

Describe Position
Use some cones to mark out a route for a friend or adult to follow. What sorts of language do we need to use to give them directions? (left, right, forward, backward, up, down).
Use this grid to verbally give directions from one of the boxes to another.
e.g: From the pool to the house: Move right 2 squares and up 2 squares.
What about this grid? You are only allowed to use the words: forwards, backwards, left and right.
E.G: From the house to the tree.
Move forwards/down 1 space then turn left and travel 2 spaces forward, then turn right.
Have a go at the Describing Position sheet attached at the bottom of the page once you have it sussed!
