Practise writing the digits 0 - 9.

Can you count a group of 7 objects? What about 12? What about 17? 

English:

Can you draw a picture of the people who live in your house? If you share time between two houses, can you draw the people who live in each house? Have a go at labelling your family members using your phonics knowledge. 

Practise writing your name! Can you write your first name? Middle name? Surname? 

Topic: 

Practise your handwriting in pages 2 & 3 in your handwriting book. 

Find out the jobs of the people in your family. What do they do? What would you like to be when you grow up? Can you draw a picture of you in the job you would like to do?

Topic:

Handwriting: practise writing the letter 'r' and the capital 'R' too. 

Can you write the words: ray, row, raw, rock, roll, rack

Then write the sentence: Ronald was rocking and rolling to the ice rink. 

(Remember that tall letters (ascenders) should touch the top line whilst hanging letters (descenders) should hang below the bottom line).

Become an interviewer for the day! Interview your family and find out what they like and dislike. Can you write down what you find out. Could you make flashcards to help you with topics to ask the members of your family, things like: colour, clothes, food, drinks, books, places, music.
