The time has come to say goodbye to our Yr6 as they begin their transitions to their chosen High Schools. To celebrate their time at Castle Acre, a Leavers' Service was held on Tuesday 3rd July to which families, friends, fellow Castle Acre pupils attended.
The six Yr6's prepared an account of their final year experiences together with their hopes for High School and beyond. It was lovely to see the confident and mature manner in which they read these out, each of them talking about the pride they have of being part of Oak Class, Castle Acre Church of England Primary Academy and The Nar Valley Federation of Church Schools. They were then joined by the rest of Oak Class to perform 'The Leavers Song.' The children were presented with a 'Holding Cross' and a bible by Canon Nairn.
We wish Alfie, Evie, Faye, Freddie, Reece and Scott well for the future. It's been a privilege being part of your journey.
